A Trusted Source for Implants

Board-Certified Surgeon

Dr. Gregory Anderson is a board-certified oral surgeon who has been in practice since 1994. He places approximately 800 dental implants every year, making him a prime choice for patients throughout Salt Lake City, West Jordan, and Centerville.

Comfortable Sedation

Oral surgery can cause feelings of anxiety in some patients. We offer sedation options so your procedure is relaxing, not nerve-racking. We can even administer IV sedation, which is adjustable throughout your procedure to give you exactly what you need to feel comfortable.

Continuum of Care

No matter how complex your case, our oral surgeon in Salt Lake City, UT, can provide what you need without referring you all over town. Our specialist can extract damaged or infected teeth, perform necessary bone grafting, and place your implants before you return to your dentist for your custom bridge.

Keeping Care Within Reach

Affordable Rates

Dental implants are notorious for being expensive, but we offer competitive pricing because we want our patients from Salt Lake City, West Jordan, and Centerville to have access to the quality care they need. For reference, a single implant starts at just $1,575.

PPO Insurance

We accept PPO plans like Aetna, Cigna, Delta Dental, Guardian, MetLife, and UnitedHealthcare, as well as local insurances like SelectHealth and DMBA. While they might not contribute to the cost of implants, they may help cover preparatory care and your dental bridge.

CareCredit Financing

If you’re uninsured or need help covering your out-of-pocket costs, we accept financing through CareCredit®. This third-party lender allows patients who qualify to pay for their care in affordable monthly installments.

Free Consultations

Curious about implant bridges but not sure if the price is right? We’ll give you a custom quote during a free consultation. During this consultation, we’ll make honest recommendations regarding your care and encourage you to ask questions. We just want you to move forward with confidence in the procedure you choose.

The Implant Bridge Process

The full implant bridge process takes several months to

Prep Work

If you don’t initially qualify for dental implants, we can help you qualify. Dr. Anderson performs tooth extraction and bone grafting to remove unhealthy teeth and strengthen your jaw, preparing it for implants.

Anesthesia

Before implants are placed, Dr. Anderson will administer anesthesia to block pain at the treatment site. Optional sedation can help you feel relaxed in the dental chair.

Implants

Dr. Anderson will make incisions in your gums and place the implants in your jaw. The implants will fuse to your jaw over the next three to six months in a process called ‘osseointegration.’

Abutments

Once your implants have fused with your jawbone, you can return to Oral Surgery Specialty, where Dr. Anderson will place your abutments. These connector pieces secure your bridge to your implants. Once in place, the gums will have to heal around your abutments.

Bridge

Dr. Anderson or your dentist can take impressions of your smile that will be used in the creation of your custom implant bridge. Once your bridge has been created, it can be secured to your implants, where it will look and feel like natural teeth.

FAQ About
Implant Bridges

Am I a good candidate for an implant bridge?

Most patients who are missing two or more teeth in a row and have adequate jawbone density are good candidates. Your oral surgeon will evaluate your jawbone, gum health, and overall oral health before recommending a treatment plan. If you've experienced bone loss or have other oral health concerns, we can address those first.

Is the procedure painful?

Most patients are surprised by how comfortable the process is. Local anesthesia is used during implant placement, and sedation options are available for patients who need a higher level of comfort. Some soreness and swelling are normal in the days following surgery, but over-the-counter pain medication is usually enough to manage it.

How do I care for an implant bridge?

You can care for an implant bridge the same way you care for your natural teeth. Brush twice a day, floss daily, and use an antibacterial mouthwash. You may prefer to use special flossing tools like a floss threader or water flosser to help you clean under the bridge and around the implants. Keeping up with your regular dental exams and cleanings is also important for long-term success.

How long do implant bridges last?

With proper care, implant bridges can last 10–20 years or longer. Regular brushing, flossing, and routine checkups with your dentist will help you get the most life out of your restoration.
